I'm trying to upgrade a user from CRM 4.0 Outlook Client to CRM 2013 Client. User was running Outlook 2007 with 4.0. I upgraded him to Office 365/Outlook 2013. Unfortunately, that wasn't compatible with another piece of software installed on his machine.
I removed 365 and reinstalled Outlook 2007, then installed Dynamics CRM 2013 Outlook client and SP1. Right now, he can set up the CRM client -- it takes the server's address, username, and password and creates the CRM folder tree. But whenever he tried to open one of the folders, he gets a "CRM Disconnected" error message. Sometimes, it allows him to log in with a user name and password (link to sign in on the right pane of Outlook), but then Outlook always hangs and has to be killed manually.
Unfortunately, System Restore points don't go back far enough to restore to before 365 was installed. Other people have had the same problem, and I have tried the following fix, only to find that no 9.5 folder exists, only a 9.3:

Any suggestions other than reinstalling Win 7 (which might not be a bad idea for other reasons)?
