CRM 2011 On Premise on SQL 2016

Hi Forum,

We have CRM 2011 on premise on SQL 2012 but would like to know if one can migrate CRM 2011 on SQL 2016 ?

The reason I ask this because we have some other custom applications deployed on same server which can be benefited from some new SQL 2016 functions.

If anybody can share any information around this combination then it would be greatly appreciated.
