Greetings,
We are undergoing the process of upgrading our CRM 2011 (Roll up 8) toCRM 2011 (Roll up 18).

We have installed what we use:
- SERVER Update
- Router Update
- SRS Update
After the installations, we performed all the required post-installation hot fixes as per the page I posted above.
All installations/configurations were successful without error and the machine was rebooted after each phase.
Issue:
During our Use Case testing, everything (custom or out-of-box) appeared to be working perfectly fine; except for the "Contacts" and "Opportunities" entities. We can SEE the all the records, create and save views on the records, able to edit and create new records (by this I mean we can click on the "new" and "edit" buttons and they appear to be working fine), however, the [SAVE]/[SAVE AND NEW]/[SAVE AND CLOSE] buttons do nothing.
I have:
- Checked the System Event Logs
- Ran CRM Tracing
- Firefox debugger
- Using VMM: We also REPEATED the entire process from scratch which resulted in the same issue
There are NO errors, the buttons simply donothing when clicked.
I speculate it is not permissions issue as I am doing the testing as the System Administratorwith the System Administrator Security Role. Checking the role to make sure; this role has FULL control on the entities in question.
Please help! I cannot find any article, blog, forum posts for this issue as it seems to be unique to our installment.
