CRM Access Authentication error

CRM 2015 is running under a service account/ CRM AppPool is running under a service account. 

This Service account is not a user in the CRM instance, we have custom web application and the AppPool of the application is also running under the same service account. 

We are currently getting authentication errors when trying to access the custom web application. Kindly Help.

Any Ideas/Solutions will be really helpful.

The Error message is as shown below:

Exception information:

    Exception type: FaultException

    Exception message: The server was unable to process the request due to an internal error.  For more information about the error, either turn on IncludeExceptionDetailInFaults (either from ServiceBehaviorAttribute or from the <serviceDebug> configuration behavior) on the server in order to send the exception information back to the client, or turn on tracing as per the Microsoft .NET Framework SDK documentation and inspect the server trace logs.
