I have recently ran into the issue where an e-mail in Rich Text Format that contains an attachment of any size and when tracked from the Outlook client, the entire message gets stored as an attachment within the tracked e-mail activity in CRM. The email activity itself has a blank message body. In other scenarios (HTML and plain text) tracking seems to work normally.
Is this an expected system behaviour? Is it possible to have this corrected so that RTF emails with attachments can still be tracked like any other messages in CRM?
